THE BRIEF

The work behind Forklift City.

An equipment website needs to help a buyer decide which units deserve a closer look. Product details and a route to pricing matter more than a gallery with no next step.

We designed this showcase around browsing inventory, inspecting an individual unit and asking about it. The visual treatment uses an industrial palette and large product-led typography, with inventory and enquiry controls available from the main navigation.

PRODUCT SCOPE

What we built.

01

Inventory browsing

A data-driven inventory supports filtering and individual unit details. The catalogue provides the context a buyer needs before asking for a quote.

02

Enquiry design

Pricing and wholesale-enquiry paths connect a visitor's interest to the next action. The page gives the visitor more context than a standalone contact link.

03

Product information

Process and comparison sections explain the considerations behind buying refurbished equipment. Showcase imagery should not be interpreted as proof of an actual yard or available stock.

04

Responsive presentation

The desktop and phone layouts retain the inventory and enquiry route while adapting navigation, typography and spacing to the screen.

WORKFLOW

A connected sequence of tasks.

  1. 01Browse

    Explore the equipment inventory.

  2. 02Inspect

    Read the selected unit's details.

  3. 03Enquire

    Ask about pricing and requirements.

DESIGN & ENGINEERING

Decisions that shaped the build.

01

Keep inventory close to the first decision.

A visitor can see the product category and reach the available-unit view without working through a long company introduction.

02

Tie the enquiry to the product.

A useful equipment enquiry starts with the unit and the buyer's requirements. The design links inventory exploration to the pricing request rather than treating them as unrelated pages.

03

Label the showcase for what it is.

Forklift City is a fictional presentation name. We make no claim about a customer relationship, stock availability, business location or measured sales results.
