PRIVACY / PLAIN LANGUAGE

How we handle your information.

This notice explains what happens to information you send through async.tech, who helps us process it, and how to contact us about it.

Information we collect

When you send a project inquiry, we receive the details you choose to provide: your name, work email, company, project type, estimated budget, phone number, and message. Required fields are marked on the form.

Our hosting and security providers may also process standard technical records such as an IP address, browser details, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate page views, visits, referrers, countries, and page-performance data. It is configured not to collect measurements from visitors in the European Union. The optional Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity features described below require your permission.

How we use it

We use inquiry information to understand your request, respond, arrange conversations, prepare a scope or proposal, prevent abuse, and keep the records reasonably needed to manage a potential or active client relationship.

Where data protection law applies, these activities are based on taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, or our legitimate interests in operating and securing the business. We do not sell personal information or use inquiry details for unrelated automated decision-making.

Optional analytics and session recording

If you accept analytics in the privacy panel, we load Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity on public marketing pages. Google Analytics measures page visits and enquiry actions so we can understand how visitors find our services. We send page paths and action names, not the name, email, message, phone number or other values entered in the enquiry form. A form action is not proof that an email was delivered or a sale completed.

Microsoft Clarity provides heatmaps and session replays of page interactions, including clicks and scrolling. We use strict text masking and mask the enquiry form. Google Analytics and Clarity are excluded from the document, image and other file-processing tools and from the administration area. Clarity is also excluded from the thank-you page and pages opened with query strings.

These services can process device and browser information, interaction records and technical connection information, and use cookies or similar identifiers. Our integration grants analytics permission only; advertising storage and personalization permissions remain denied. We do not send account identifiers or form contents to these services. Read Google’s privacy policy and the Microsoft Privacy Statement for their processing practices, including international processing.

Google Analytics and Clarity do not load before you accept. Rejecting does not restrict use of the site. You can change your choice or withdraw permission here; withdrawing stops tracking, clears accessible first-party analytics cookies and may reload the page to unload the trackers. It does not erase data already received by the providers. We remember your choice in browser storage for up to 180 days, then ask again. If browser storage is unavailable, a choice may last only for the current page. This preference storage is separate from analytics cookies.

Service providers

The project form posts to FormSubmit, which delivers the submission to our email account. FormSubmit states that it retains form submissions for 30 days. You can also read FormSubmit’s privacy notice. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides the aggregate traffic and performance measurements described above, while Cloudflare also handles public traffic for network delivery and security. The application runs on a Coolify-managed server, while its infrastructure host and our mailbox provider may process information needed to serve the site, keep technical records, and deliver inquiries.

Those providers may operate in other countries. Their current terms and transfer mechanisms apply to their processing, and Async is responsible for selecting providers and safeguards appropriate to the information involved. Contact us if you need the current provider details for a procurement or privacy review.

Retention and security

We keep inquiries only for as long as they are useful for the conversation, a resulting business relationship, security, dispute handling, or legal and accounting requirements. The appropriate period depends on what the inquiry becomes. You can ask us to delete information that no longer needs to be retained.

No internet service can promise absolute security. We limit collection, use encrypted connections, and rely on controlled business accounts and service providers to reduce risk.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask what information we hold, receive a copy, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent where consent applies. Some rights have legal exceptions.

UK visitors can learn more from the Information Commissioner’s Office. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
